Matt Welch, CPESC, CESSWI, President
Matt Welch, CPESC, CESSWI, is the Technical & Business Development Manager for Profile Products, LLC, of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Welch oversees Profile’s Technical Department and works closely with specifiers to ensure that all erosion and sediment control designs, involving Profile’s line of products, will have a high rate of success.
Welch holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Conservation and Environmental Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, with an emphasis on land resources and soil science. During and after college, Welch worked at an engineering and consulting firm out of Green Bay, WI. The firm he worked with was heavily involved in projects with erosion control and reclamation of land; many of which were on linear transmission line projects. This experience ultimately led to a smooth transition into the technical department at Profile Products.

Jonathan Koepke, Treasurer
Jonathan Koepke is the Vice President and General Manager for ENCAP, Inc. in Sycamore, IL. and the Treasurer of the IECA Region 1 BoD Jonathan Koepke has been with ENCAP, Inc. since 2006. Prior to coming to ENCAP, Jonathan was the Resource Conservationist at the Kane-DuPage Soil & Water Conservation District. While at the KDSWCD for 5 years, he performed erosion control plan review and site inspection for compliance with US Army Corps of Engineers, IEPA, and Municipal erosion and sediment control regulations. Jonathan is a three time graduate of Northern Illinois University where he completed both his Bachelors and Masters degrees and holds a Masters in Business Administration. His areas of expertise and interest include streambank stabilization and restoration techniques, Polyacrylamide use for erosion and sediment control, and revegetative techniques on construction sites. He is also the current President of the Great Lakes Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA).

Adam Dibble, Vice President
CPESC, CESSWI
Adam Dibble is the 2019-2021 International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Region One Board President. He is the youngest president in IECA history. Adam Dibble joined Profile in 2009 and started his career as a marketing manager and quickly moved into senior leadership positions.
With over 10 years of erosion control and marketing experience, Dibble has played an integral role in raising awareness of environmentally friendly practices. Through his leadership skills, Dibble has also educated the erosion control industry on best management practices and technological advancements. His marketing responsibilities include building brand awareness, creating and implementing value-added marketing programs, market development, new product development, raising awareness of environmental erosion control practices and overseeing business development with partners around the world.
Dibble is a current member of the Erosion Control Technology Council, Sports Turf Manager Association and the American Marketing Association. He has been active with the Save Our International Soil (SOIL) committee for many years. He has been recognized as a Stormwater Solutions Rising Star (2016), an IECA Outstanding Professional (2017) and earned the 2018 Sigma Pi Fraternity Young Professional Achievement Award and received a 4 under 40 young professional achievement recognition in February 2020. Dibble has also published numeous articles for the erosion control industry and has a Dale Carnegie certification. He received bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Ferris State University.

Mark Hornyak, Secretary
KHornyak has over 7 years of site development experience and has performed as a key member of all phases of project management. His Project Management experience includes telecommunications, stormwater, and warehouse/office new construction.
Vision Statement: Mark has joined the board to provide a Midwest / Great Lakes voice to the IECA and hopes to achieve better collaboration between industry leaders and associations in Ohio with the greater IECA membership and events.

Aaron Mylnek, Minnesota

Aaron has more than 15 years of experience as a construction stormwater compliance specialist. As Westwood's technical director for construction stormwater compliance, he is responsible for the development, updating, and coordination of NPDES/SWPPP compliance services including narratives, erosion and sediment control plans, typical details, inspections, and other construction stormwater compliance services. Aaron focuses on corporate quality control and implementing service and product industry standards for Westwood clients nationwide. While coordinating and managing a national program, Aaron provides consistent products tailored to the regional demands and unique needs of the land, energy, and power delivery markets.

Jeff Ward is the Director of National Accounts for Profile Products, based in Buffalo Grove, IL. Jeff is responsible for and covers a nationwide footprint managing those companies and works closely with distributors and contractors to help educate and grow the erosion control market.

Michael Nelson, Wisconsin
Mr. Michael R. Nelson is employed by American Excelsior Company - Earth Science Division - Arlington, TX, as a Technical Service Representative. Mr. Nelson focuses on specification work, provides various day-to-day technical services, and organizes much of the data produced at ErosionLab®. Mr. Nelson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology received at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Mr. Nelson has decades of work experience in erosion control research and development, erosion control product applications, trout stream habitat restoration, and highway construction. Mr. Nelson is a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) and he is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) as well as a Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ).

Justin Bolda, Indiana
Justin Bolda is the Business Development Manager for SILTWORM, Inc. in Merrillville Indiana. His roles include sales, education, and market development throughout the midwest. Justin has more than 10 years of experience in the construction industry and 4 years of experience in the erosion control industry and is a certified MS4 compliance & enforcement inspector (MS4CECI). He studied Fire Science at Prairie State College in Illinois with plans to become a fireman before transitioning to a career in sales and construction.
Justin is the IECA Indiana state representative who has been an active IECA member for all 4 of his years in the erosion control industry.

Kevin Boyce, Illinois
Kevin Boyce is a Territory Manager for American Excelsior Corporation, based in Arlington, TX. Kevin is responsible for a 6 state territory including IL, IN, MI, OH, KY and WV and works closely with specifying engineers and contractors to ensure erosion and sediment control measures are effective.
Kevin holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University and an MBA degree from the University of Indianapolis. Since starting with American Excelsior in 2018 Kevin has been active on several industry committees.

Kim Kline, Administrative Assistant
Kim is a creative professional with experience in all aspects of successful marketing, advertising, public relations, event planning, social networking and management. She excels in managing multiple projects concurrently with strong detail, problem solving and follow-through capabilities. Kim’s demonstrated ability to manage and motivate cohesive teams that achieve results is one of her greatest assets.
Kim serves as support for associations and is responsible for the technical and educational programming of conferences and regional events. Kim also plays a key role in successfully championing innovative initiatives including webinar development and video re-broadcasting of education/conference content, delivering an excellent experience for both attendees and the associations that she has represented. Years of involvement with trade organizations and associations has allowed her to develop long term, successful business relationships across many industries.
